MOUNTAIN BIKING SKILLS 101

DESCRIPTION: This will cover the basics of moutain biking as applicable to adventure racing such as:

1. Choosing the right bike and equipment
2. Basic Nutrition on the bike
3. Preventative Maintenance and Repairs
4. Tools
5. Proper position
6. Efficiency
7. Terrain
8. Technique

DURATION: 2-3 Hours

DATES: June 12th and August 7th 2005 1pm-4pm

LOCATION: Kailua Beach Park, Kailua HI

COST: $25.00 per person

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:
Mountain bike, helmet, shoes, and other equipment necessary for riding. Used bikes will be available for purchase at the BOCA/ARH Headquarters.
